Mr. Brainwash - Mona Riva - Retouché on canvas

The work by Mr. Brainwash Mona Riva is a hand-signed retouché on canvas. The subject of the work is the Monna Lisa, depicted while driving a Riva motorboat.

The bright shades of the boat, the colorful water splashes which evocate the characteristic motifs of Mr. Brainwash, stand out boldly against the black and white background. In Lake is beautiful the artist designs an artful dialectic of contrasts and resemblances, and he intervenes with his pop style to light up the symbols of the Italian Dolce Vita - the landscape in the background and the Riva in the foreground.

The retouché on canvas was realized for the event “Iseo Lake is Beautiful”, which was born from a collaboration between Bellini Nautica and Mr. Brainwash for the presentation of Riva Super Aquarama by Mr. Brainwash, an exclusive collector’s piece which allows the encounter between the soul of art and the one of luxury. The name of the event is linked to the slogan of the artist “Life is Beautiful”, which echoes in the choice of vivid tones for the description of the water splashes, as well as in an eulogy to the beauty of Iseo Lake landscape, meticulously depicted behind the motorboat.

The retouché on canvas by Mr. Brainwash Mona Riva is dated 2021, it measures 50x100 cm and it is hand-signed by the artist. It is part of an edition of 3 and is sold with the frame without glass provided by the artist.

TAX

If you live in Europe (CEE) the price we show you already includes taxes. The works are taxed either with VAT exposed (5%) or VAT with the margin, if you are a private person you do not change anything, if you are a company: in In the first case, you will recover the VAT, in the second, no. When you put the works in the cart you will be separated from the vat exposed.

If you DON'T LIVE IN EU and you want an EXTRA EU shipping

Many works (not all) have an exposed VAT of 5% included in the price, this vat will be spun off! Obviously you will pay the VAT to your destination country, if due. For example if you live in Switzerland you save 5% but you will have to pay 8.1% to your customs, if you live in Hong Kong you will save 5% and you will not have to pay anything to your customs (lucky you).

PAYMENT

If you complete the purchase on the site you can use a credit card, or you can make a bank transfer. Payment in cash is accepted up to 5,000 euros physically in one of our stores. Payments in BitCoin or cryptocurrencies are NOT accepted.
