Dellorto – Un sogno a tre colori

Dellorto, an Italian excellence in the mechanical sector and a benchmark in carburetor manufacturing since 1933, has partnered with Mr. Savethewall to create a special project that brings together art and industry, tradition and a contemporary vision.

The artist was selected to pay tribute to and reinterpret, through his urban-pop language, the iconic carburetor that has shaped the brand’s history and has always represented its beating heart.

This collaboration gives rise to a unique artwork that does not merely depict a technical component, but enhances its symbolic power, transforming it into an aesthetic and cultural icon. Through his dialogue with Dellorto, Mr. Savethewall captures and celebrates the values that define the brand’s identity— precision, innovation, and passion —translating them into an immediate and contemporary image. The carburetor, portrayed as the central element, becomes the visual signature of an Italian industrial story shaped by constant research, meticulous attention to detail, and creative energy.

From this original creation comes a collectible limited edition of 100 pieces, titled Un sogno a tre colori: a visual tribute to Made in Italy, where the carburetor stands out against a tricolor background, with drips and bold chromatic contrasts that are distinctive of Mr. Savethewall’s style.

This collaboration is part of Dellorto 4RACING, the project through which Dellorto took part in EICMA 2025, presenting the evolution of its DNA through a language that combines technology, performance, design, and contemporary culture.

"I chose this title by recalling the expression ‘hearts and engines,’ which historically, in journalistic and advertising language, represents the world of automotive and racing. I wanted to convey that behind every vehicle or competition there is not only mechanics, but also emotion, courage, and human feeling. That’s how I arrived at a portrait that represents not only the carburetor, but the Dellorto world and the values that have made its success so extensive as to become an urban/pop icon."
