Thank you!
In a world where brands are called upon to create authentic and lasting connections with their audiences, art stands out as one of the most powerful languages to evoke emotion, identity, and cultural value.
A remarkable example of this encounter is the collaboration between The Walt Disney Company Italy, Marco Lodola, and Deodato Arte on the occasion of the launch of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. III in 2023.
To celebrate the release of the film, Marco Lodola – an iconic figure of Italian Pop Art, renowned for his luminous sculptures and his joyful, vibrant aesthetic – created six unique works dedicated to the film’s protagonists: Peter Quill, Drax, Groot, Rocket, Nebula, and Mantis.
The sculptures were displayed on Via Fiori Chiari, in the heart of Brera, during Milan Design Week, transforming one of the city’s most iconic districts into an open-air art gallery where cinema, design, and art met in perfect harmony.
“These are pop works that tell the story of a multifaceted and luminous universe.”
— Marco Lodola
The starting point of the project was not mere visibility, but the pursuit of an authentic experience capable of conveying emotion and identity.
Disney aimed to create a symbolic moment that could resonate with the audience beyond cinema screens, turning the film’s promotion into a cultural and urban event.
That’s where Deodato Arte stepped in as a strategic partner, translating the brief into a coherent and tangible artistic concept.
We worked to bridge the Marvel universe with Marco Lodola’s luminous pop vision, building a project that combined art, strategy, and communication.
Light, the central element in Lodola’s artistic research, became the very symbol of the project — a visual language representing energy, movement, and the universe itself, the same values that animate the Guardians of the Galaxy saga.
Through his unique style, Lodola transformed the film’s imagery into a visual, urban, and shareable experience, making tangible what in the movie belongs to fantasy and cosmic space — literally lighting up art, and with it, the audience’s emotions.
This collaboration generated an impact that goes beyond media visibility, showing how art can become a powerful branding tool:
As a gallery, our mission is not only to represent artists but to create meaningful connections between business and art.
Collaborations such as this one with Disney and Marco Lodola demonstrate how art can become a strategic communication asset, shaping a brand’s values and embedding them within a broader cultural narrative.
Today, the most innovative brands seek not just visibility, but meaning. Art enables the creation of experiences that are emotional, authentic, and memorable — that speak to people and leave a lasting impression.
At Deodato Arte, we believe every brand has a story to tell through art. Collaborating with contemporary artists like Marco Lodola means shedding light on that story, transforming a communication project into a genuine cultural experience.
