On Wednesday, December 10th, in the Milan gallery space on Via Nerino 1, a special evening unfolded: Deodato Arte and Delvaux inaugurated an exclusive partnership that introduces a fresh dialogue between contemporary creativity and Haute Maroquinerie.
A collaboration that is not just a project, but a true encounter of worlds, values, and languages.
A Live Performance to Celebrate the Beginning
For this “first date” with Delvaux, the gallery hosted a live performance by French artist Maxime Siau, who personalized one of the Maison’s iconic bags. Around him, a selection of Delvaux’s most representative models—on display in the gallery until December 15th—transformed the space into a setting of inspiration and exploration.
Siau’s signature style—always focused on exploring the meeting point between the urban and the classical—perfectly reflects the spirit of the collaboration: a bridge between tradition and contemporary vision, between craftsmanship and evolving artistic languages.
A Dialogue Between Kindred Worlds
Delvaux is no stranger to the world of fine arts: from its longstanding relationship with the Magritte Museum in Brussels to its collaboration with the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium on the restoration of Saul Steinberg’s monumental fresco The Americans, the Belgian Maison has always cultivated a deep connection with artistic heritage.
The synergy with Deodato Arte naturally fits into this path, strengthening Delvaux’s cultural presence in Italy and particularly in Milan, a city that has always been a crossroads of fashion, art, and innovation.
